1986 Jem/Jerrica of The Holograms

Jem/Jerrica was my 2nd “Jem” doll and only lost out to Pizzazz as she had a cassette tape with her.
Original Jem is very pretty in my opinion however they could have done so much more with her instead of the 2 tone hair. Perhaps wigs, extensions or even colour pens would have been better. I have now made my own Jem Re-Root with long thick Pink hair who I think is rather fabulous…I think I would have killed to have her as a kid!

1986 Pizzazz of The Misfits

Pizzazz was my very first doll from the series; I had no knowledge of the Jem range until they appeared in Toy n Hobby sometime in 1986, I spent at least an hour trying to decide which doll to get first and it was between Pizzazz and Jem, ultimately Pizzazz won as she came with a cassette and my grandma liked her hair best.
